Job description:

At Humanize Inc, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do, so we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-growing team and to help us build functional systems that improve the customer experience. You will be responsible for deploying product updates, monitoring & identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. Job responsibilities:

• Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey this to developers
• Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Test and examine code written by others and analyze results
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identify technical problems and develop software updates and ‘fixes’
• Work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Plan out projects and be involved in project management decisions
• Provide escalated (Level 2) technical support
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop scripts to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization

Required qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or sia milar discipline
• Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering will be an advantage
• 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• 4 years of hands-on experience in managing Linux-based infrastructure
• 2 years of hands-on experience in managing Cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure or GCP)
• 2 years of hands-on experience with databases (PostgreSQL, Elastic), CI/CD tools, scripting such as JavaScript, Python, Perl
• Proficient with git and git workflows
• Experience with Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Problem-solving attitude
